Primarily, Mark is the Pharmacy Data Program Manager for the Veterans Health Administration Pharmacy Benefits Management National Academic Detailing Service. Additionally, Mark is an health economist at the VA Health Economics Resource Center and an investigator at the VA Center for Innovation to Implementation (Ci2i) in Menlo Park, CA.
Mark received his PharmD from Western University of Health Science College of Pharmacy, his Master of Public Health from Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, and his PhD from the Comparative Health Outcomes, Policy, and Economics (CHOICE) Institute at the University of Washington. His research interests include pharmacoeconomics, outcomes research, health economics, process and program evaluations, econometric methods, and evidence synthesis using Bayesian methods. Mark has also developed interests in data visualizations and spatial analysis with R.
