Register to Use Average Cost Data

HERC average cost data are available only to individuals who already have a timesharing account at the national VA computer center in Austin Texas, or to current VA employees. VA employees must obtain permission from their local facility to set up an Austin timesharing account. Individuals who are not VA employees may obtain an Austin timesharing account to work on VA-funded research if they obtain special permission from the medical center that administers the funding.

HERC average cost data are located at the Austin Automation Center (AAC) and are accessed via computer using a personal timesharing account. To obtain access to the HERC data:

• Complete a "Registration to Use HERC Cost Data" form (available in our downloads section)
• Submit completed form in one of the following ways
