3. How do I obtain access to DSS data?

To obtain access to the DSS national extract, the user submits a timesharing agreement, a non-disclosure form and, if needed, a completed privacy act statement to the local information security officer. To obtain access to DSS production data, the user must submit a request to the DSS manager at the individual site.

Note that access to DSS data is limited to employees of the Department of Veterans Affairs who agree not to release data on the cost of specific healthcare products to the public.
